Bear lake state park. Camping Hot springs.

Een heerlijk zwembad hebben ze hier. Een hot pool. Het water is vreselijk warm en je hebt meer tijd nodig om door te komen in het water dan wanneer het water koud was geweest. Maar een bad met mineraal water dat moet je ook eens meegemaakt hebben. Lekker koud afdouchen tot slot.

Het is prachtig hier. Het is het begin van de vlakte waar ook Salt lake City op is gebouwd. Het water is blauw, de bergen lichtbruin en de stranden slaat wit uit. Moet zout zijn. De temperatuur is hier aanzienlijk hoger dan in de bergen. Vanavond maar een paar lagen dekens eraf gooien. Die zullen we hier niet nodig hebben.

Day 14, Monday June 9

Bear Lake State Park. Campground Hot Springs.

They have a great hot pool out here. Really hot. It takes us longer to get used to this temperature that the cold water of a normal pool. But it is mineral water. One should try that at least once. Afterwards the cold shower was a welcome treat.

It is beautiful out here. It is the beginning of the valley were also Salt Lake City is built in. The water from the lake is beautifully blue, the mountains light brown and the beach are white sand, like salt. The temperature is higher here than it was in the mountains, so tonight we will not need so many blankets anymore.
