Dag 9, woensdag 4 juni

Big Horn Mountains. Prachtig. In het noordwesten van Wyoming. Mooie pieken en dalen met heel veel sneeuw. Pronghorns lopen hier in kleine groepjes vrij rond en herten springen zo over de weg. Wel opletten dus. Mooie blauwe meren waar mannen in bootjes lekker zitten te vissen. Het is zonnig weer, maar wel waait er een koude wind, vooral bovenop de toppen. Dit is het voor mij. Hier geniet ik zo van. Verderop in het lagere gedeelte is het ook nog mooi. Daar lopen de koeien gewoon over de weg. Een open range wordt dat genoemd. Met andere woorden: uitkijken geblazen, die speelse kalfjes hobbelen zo de weg op. Dan nog even doorrijden en we zitten in Cody op de camping. Hebben bij de Burger King een burger gegeten. Veel lekkerder dan in Nederland. Maar dan die idioot grote bekers met cola….dat is vast om je maag lekker op te rekken, en dat was dan medium sizeJ

Day 9, Wednesday June 4

Big Horn Mountains. Gorgeous. In the north west of Wyoming. Wonderful peaks and valleys and lots of snow. Pronghorns walk the place all over and deer jumps on the road as it pleases. We ‘ve got to watch out. Blue lakes where men in boats do their time fishing. It is sunny but ice-cold winds blow down from the snowy mountaintops. These are the most beautiful vacation experiences. I love the high mountains since we haven’t got them at all. Later in the lower hills and valleys cows just walk all over the place. Open range over here. No fences at all. We are the ones that have to watch out . Calfs playfully jump around and look so lovely. It is time to go look for a place to stay for the night and we found one in Cody. Tried the Burger king food, was not to bad. Only the size of the drinks..and that was only a medium sizeJ
